Increment and decrement operators
The loop counter can be incremented or decremented by any suitable step value. Note that the increment operator ++ increments the value of i by 1, every time the statement i++ gets executed. Similarly, to reduce the value of a variable y by 1, a decrement operator — is also available.
However, never use i+++ to increment the value of i by 2, since there doesn’t exist an operator +++ in C.
