Front-End Development

When you visit a website, you can see, you often feel awe by the sheer looks and design. That is pretty much the job of a front-end developer. A front-end developer decides how the website is going to look and feel.

Note:- The developer who works on front-end development are called front-end developer.

Front-End Developer design the user interface, so that when we visit a website, we can navigate by clicking buttons, or see an animated slideshow. Bottom line, whatever you see is what the front-end or the ‘clients end’ of the website.

If you are a front-end developer, you should know the basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap. If you know JavaScript, it will be an added benefit that you can cash-in by getting a job or simply improving your skills. The website development companies are always in need of quality front-end developers. Getting a job should not going to that much of an issue for you.

Some argue that learning front-end is easier than back-end. However, market competition is high for front-end developers.

Back-End Development

Back-End Development is like the soul of a website. While the front-end developers decide how the website is going to look, the back-end developers build programs and codes to work as it should be. If you are a back-end developer, then it would be your responsibility to choose the appropriate programming language for the website.

Note:- The developer who works on back-end development are called Back-End Developer.

However, sometimes the owner of the site also decides which platform to choose. Nevertheless, you have to develop the site based on the designs created by the front-end developers.

If you want to follow a career path of back-end development, then you must have to know at least one programming language such as PHP, Java, DotNet, Python, and My SQL. Remember, it is essential that you are good in any particular programming language. Because based on that, you will build your career.

Back-End Development is harder then Front-End Development. There is no doubt that learning any programming language is tough, but worth learning as it opens the door for endless job opportunities.

Conclusion

After considering both front-end and back-end development, we must agree that both aspects are essential and required for a website to run. However, we are arguing which one is better? If we give a clear answer, it would be diplomatic – Both! Since both of them has its fair sheer of pros and cons.

The simplest verdict would be, front-end is better for those who want a job and has creative designing skills, and back-end is better for those whose passion is programming and coding.
