1. New UI for Tablet Lovers
Many people talked about this few months back, but it was not sure whether the new version of this would come up with this new tablet Chrome UI. Well, Chrome has finally come up with these, and to witness this unique and sleek version, you can download it from the store.
If you follow the steps to update your Chrome OS and then go to the tablet mode, you will observe that your Chrome browser has been updated with a lot of tabs around your browser.
2. Linux Applications Run Better
The new Chrome OS 80 is a move to the Debian Buster which is a jump from its previous version known as Stretch. Even though some of the benefits of the new version have been discussed before, but the interesting thing is that Linux application will run better with Chrome OS 80.
Moreover, it is to be kept in mind while upgrading to Chrome OS, the Linux container that was set up with the previous version will not automatically transition to the latest one. 3. Picture in Picture of Netflix
In the previous version of Chrome, we were accustomed to the picture in picture feature. However, the thing that has been highlighted by Google a few days back is that Netflix picture in the picture will be supported by Chromebook.
Even though practically it has not been tested because Netflix is not available in play store, but you can expect a positive result, and you can enjoy the picture in picture feature.
4. Introduction of New Tablet Mode UI Gestures
We have talked about the tablet mode in the previous section, and there are some significant changes coming to the tablet mode UI. The new tablet mode UI gestures can easily be enabled with a simple flip using a switch.
