How to Create a Guest Account on Windows 11

Using a separate guest account is a simple method to share your computer. For your guest users, Microsoft allows you to create a Guest Account on your Windows 11. As a result, they won’t be able to access the personal information stored on your machine. They can only use the limited software or apps that you permit them to use.

However, adding a Guest account on the new Windows 11 is slightly different from how it was on Windows 10. But still, it is a few steps away. Today, we will discuss how we can create a Guest Account on Windows 11.

There are two types of guest accounts in Windows 11. One for the family user, such as your child’s or a family member’s account. To do so, you must first register a Microsoft account for your family member. It will help you to keep your family member safer online with the safety setting using  Microsoft Family Safety.

If you want to create a guest account for someone who isn’t a family member, you can create an account without a Microsoft account. You can create a local account for other users.

Here are the steps to create a guest account:

Step 1: Click on the windows icon to open the “Start Menu.” Now search for “Settings” and open it. Or else, you can use Win + I shortcut key to open settings.

Step 2: It will bring up the settings window. Click on the “Account” tab and click on the “Family & other users” option to create a guest account on Windows 11.
