How to Enable Dark Mode on Chromebook

The dark mode is officially available on the latest version of Chrome OS. Now you can turn on system-wide dark mode on a Chromebook. With the release of Chrome OS 104, you get a theme option on your Chrome. Using it, you can enable dark mode.

Follow the below steps to enable system-wide dark mode on your Chromebook.

Step 1: Firstly, update your Chromebook. For that, Go to Settings > About ChromeOS and check for updates. If you have any Chrome OS updates, install them.

Step 2: Now click on the “Personalization” tab. Here you will find the “Set your wallpaper & style” option. Click on it; to change the theme.
