How to Enable Dark Mode on YouTube on Android

Before we begin, let me tell you that if you are using an older version of YouTube, you must first update it. To update the YouTube app, go to the Google Play Store and update it. After that, follow the following steps:

Step 1: Open your YouTube application. Now to access the option to enable or disable dark mode, click on your profile icon. Click on the “Settings” option.

Step 2: Next, you will find all the settings options. To enable the dark mode, Go to the “General” settings and look for the “Appearance” option. Now click on it.

Step 3: Here, you will find the appearance menu, and you can select the theme. If you want to enable dark mode, select the “Dark Theme” option. You may also choose “Use device theme,” which will change the YouTube app’s theme to match your system’s theme.

This will activate the YouTube App’s dark mode. The YouTube app will run in dark mode by default if you have dark mode enabled on your system.
