How-to-Enable-Google-Play-Protect

Google Play Protect is the built-in malware protection feature for all Android devices. It uses machine learning to scan potential threats to your device. Play Protect regularly checks your apps and device for harmful behaviour. It will also alert you if there are any security threats on your device.

The main feature of Play Protect is to run a safety check on apps from the Google Play Store before you download them. Also, it prevents you from installing apps from unknown sources. Here is how you can enable Google Play Protect for your Android device.

How to Enable Google Play Protect

Google Play Protect is a feature developed by Google that scan and detects any malicious application on your Android smartphone to enable Google Play Protect on your Android devices. Follow the following steps:

Step 1: Login into Google Play Store with a Google account. If you don’t have one, you can create a Google Account.

Step 2: If you are already login, open the Google Play Store and update the app. To do so, click the profile icon and select the “Settings” option. Now, look for “Update Play Store.”

Step 3: Open the Google Play Store; after you’ve updated it to the latest version. Now click on the profile icon.

Step 4: Now click the “Play Protect” option to configure Play Protect.

Note:- By default, Google Play Protect is enabled on your Android device. But you can turn it, on and off on your requirement.

Step 5: If Google Play Protect is not enabled, you can enable it by clicking on the gear icon. Now, turn on “Scan apps with Play Protect” and “Improve harmful app detection.”

Conclusion

That’s it; this is how you can turn on Google Play Protect on your Android devices. I hope this article was helpful to you. If you liked the article, share it with your friends. If you have some suggestions, do not hesitate to leave them in the comments section. We are always there to assist you.
