System Requirements For Windows 11

Here are the basic requirements for installing Windows 11 on your system. 

  • Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or System on a Chip (SoC).
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM.
  • Storage: 64 GB or larger storage device.
  • System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable.
  • TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0.
  • Graphics card: DirectX 12 compatible graphics/WDDM 2.x.
  • Display: Greater than 9 inches with HD resolution (720p).
  • Internet connection: Microsoft account and internet connectivity are required for the setup of Windows 11.

You can also use PC Health Checker to check whether your PC can run Windows 11 or not. If TPM is not enabled, try to enable TPM on your PC BIOS. Here check the list of Intel and AMD-supported processors that can run Windows 11.

Step 1: Visit Windows 11 download page and download the “Windows 11 Installation Assistant” tool.

Step 2: Now open the Windows 11 Installer Assistant as administrator and allow windows permission. After that, here accept the license agreement to download and install Windows 11 on your PC.

Step 3: After that, it will download all the necessary files to your local storage device. This could take some time depending on your network speed.

Step 4: Once the download has been completed, it will verify the Windows 11 installation. The installation process should automatically begin once the files have been verified.

Step 5: When your installation is complete, you have to restart your computer to apply the Windows 11 update. For that, click on “Restart Now“.
